Boric Acid has been used for decades by healthcare professionals for vaginal odor and as a result there are many studies that have been conducted on its safety and efficacy. Our product is recommended by thousands of doctors and nurse practitioners in women’s health.
For infections, use the suppositories until you are asymptomatic. We tell our customers that you can use for 1-2 days after symptoms subside just in case. For preventative use, we recommend using 2-4 suppositories per week, especially if you are prone to infections. Additionally, a lot of our customers use our suppositories when there could be an imbalance of their vaginal pH, such as during or after your period, after intercourse, pre-menopause or during menopause, during antibiotic use or if customers use an IUD.
We suggest using it daily for up to 14 days or until the patient’s symptoms are gone.
We do not have the literature and the studies that support the use during pregnancy.
There are lots of triggers for vaginal imbalances such as working out, intercourse, menopause, menstruation and more, so we recommend using it preventatively 2-4 times a week in order to stay ahead of imbalances.
Menopause and hysterectomies are great examples of changes that can cause the pH of the vagina to be off. pH-D would be great to use to eliminate odor caused by these changes!
